NUDC may accept sponsorships for its annual conference from diverse business enterprises from around the United States. In order to comply with requirements for participation by some regulatory agencies, we are not able to accept conference sponsorship from regulated utilities. (Though we are happy to accept utility donations in support of our other project work.)
What: Join us in the Queen City of Charlotte, NC to brainstorm in a select group about key ideas and strategies for the future of supplier diversity and workforce diversity in Utilities and Communications
When: Thursday, May 30, 2024
Where: Duke Energy Plaza, Charlotte, NC
Who: 100 of the nation’s most interesting Supplier Diversity and Workforce Diversity Leaders, Chief Procurement Officers, Chief Diversity Officers, Chief Personnel Officers, Regulators and Regulatory Staffs

Our conference is purposely kept small to make sure that we create an atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable speaking their minds and sharing their ideas. For this reason, we’re using the Chatham House Rule, first instituted by The Royal Institute of International Affairs in 1927:
When a meeting, or part thereof, is held under the Chatham House Rule, participants are to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s), nor that of any other participant, may be revealed.
In other words, it is fine to share what we learn, but not to attribute it to a specific speaker or group.
